The story
South Korea's integrated high-speed rail platform brings KTX and SRT journeys into one booking search. For international visitors, the practical checks are still the departure shown, the booking window, the payment path and where an older ticket can be retrieved.

Korail+ integrates bookings for Korea Train Express (KTX) and Super Rapid Train (SRT), according to KORAIL. SR says SRT-route trains from 1 September can be booked as KTX through Korail+. One search can simplify discovery, but finding a train is only the first step.
Does the October booking window mean every train is on sale?
An official Korea.net policy summary describes an October move from one-month to two-month advance reservations for the integrated service. The research did not establish that every departure is visible two months out. Treat this as the stated policy window; check the live date and train before arranging the rest of a trip.
Korea.net describes combined access, capacity and fare changes; KORAIL describes foreign-language support. Neither guarantees a seat or fare for a particular trip. SR's 29 September timetable notice adds reason to check current departure details.

A single search does not make every payment path identical
The SR English booking page says its payment service accepts a Korean-issued credit card and that foreign-card payment is being developed. That notice concerns this service; it does not establish the rule for Korail+ or station payment. The research confirms no alternative for a particular foreign card. Check payment on the exact official path you plan to use before relying on a connection.
Where can an older non-member ticket be found?
For a non-member KTX ticket bought through the SRT app or website, SR's 30 September notice points to the Korail+ non-member login or Kakao notification. Keep reservation and payment details for support. This applies to that purchase path, not necessarily every older ticket. For memberships or coupons, check SR's conversion notice against the coupon type and validity date.
The report's public traveler discussions repeatedly ask when tickets open and where to find them; they do not measure failure rates. The practical sequence is to check the train and station, complete payment, then retain the booking record.
Sources and scope
The KORAIL announcement, Korea.net integration report, October policy summary, SR service page, SR English payment page, and SR's non-member retrieval, timetable and coupon notices were checked in the supplied research on 1 October 2026. The research does not confirm universal two-month inventory or foreign-card acceptance across official channels.
